My first paying job at 8 yrs old was sitting my neighbor's dog Rascal. I remember saying that summer, "I want to be a vet when I grow up."
I graduated from film school at the Academy of Art University, SF with an emphasis on Producing and minor in Photography. Very FAR from vet school! But one thing I stayed true (to my 8 year old self) was the love and care of dogs. This has been the constant in my life. It wasn't until a 2007 I realized I could turn it into a career!
Whether I'm dog sitting over the weekend in the mountains or at the River, or walking the pack at either Fort Funston or Bernal Heights, I can't imagine spending my time doing anything else.
SF DOG SQUAD:
Established in 2013 after working for three other walking services since 2007. I was lucky enough to learn about the "what not to do's" by other business owners. They helped educate me in several different aspects of the business so when I decided to go off on my own, i was confinent and hit the ground running!
January 2020 SF Dog Squad officially made my husband, Nate an official permitted and certified walker!! The pack adores him more than me & we are so grateful he is now apart of the team! We married July 2019 in Bear Valley & filled our wedding party up with nothing but K9s!! We are believe our pack is apart of the family.
